The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be streamed live on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex two-time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I'm going to injure his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will really want to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically known for his showmanship - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British opponent Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
However, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's largest financial successes, consistently making massive earnings.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a stoppage in rounds four or five and asserted he would derail the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters engaged in the traditional face-off, with their size difference evident, it drove home just how surprising this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the match is truly happening.
